Introducing Patrick!

Patrick is here! He is a content little baby and loves to sleep. Holly is very excited to be a big sister!

Covington, LA

I recently went to visit a friend of mine in Covington, LA. It has a really cool downtown area. We also visited the Abita Brewery there and we had lunch at Louie and the Redhead Lady, which is a restaurant that was once featured on the Food Network.

Disc Golf

I went disc golfing for the first time today. It was pretty fun. I'm now the proud owner of two golf discs.

Mellow Mushroom

Yesterday we went to one of our favorite pizza restaurants - The Mellow Mushroom. Holly loves the decorations, but she thinks the strange looking alien mushroom (as pictured) is a little scary.

Jam Session

The other night we went to a jam session. I got to play drums and piano and Holly helped out with auxiliary percussion!

Fireworks on the Mississippi 2011

We went to see the Fireworks on the Mississippi at the levee in Baton Rouge. Thousands of people were gathered there to watch the show.

Flycatcher the Frog

Tonight we went to my friend Josue's house for dinner. We had a great time eating barbeque, playing music, and playing air hockey. While we were there, Holly found a frog outside and named it "Flycatcher."
